“We are very pleased to have PharmaNutra and its “Human Performance” medical and scientific project supporting Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli,” explained Max Sirena, Team Director of Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli. “PharmaNutra is a leading name in the nutraceutical and pharmaceutical sector, and has been working with sports teams for some time, not only in terms of athletic training but also within a general path aiming to improve overall performance. I am sure that this will be a great help for us in establishing the best possible training programme for our sailors, allowing them to maximise their sailing performance ahead of the 37th America’s Cup”.
“In the last America’s Cup, the boat and the crew achieved a really high level of perfection, which amazed everyone,” concluded Gilberto Nobili, Operations Manager of Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli. “But we can’t consider that as the finishing line but rather the starting line for the next Cup. We are working very hard on the new boat, constantly improving the hull, systems and strategies both at sea and on land, and we would like to devote the same attention to the physical training of our crew, as we know how important this is during the regatta. We are sure that, with the partnership of PharmaNutra and our specific team we can enhance the individual characteristics of all the screw, helping them to achieve excellent results as a team.”
