< 1 MIN

A very important announcement was made by the organization of the FIA WEC regarding the situation of the current World Endurance Championship. At the moment, the next event has been scheduled for August 15 in Spa, Belgium, with the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, initially scheduled for late April and then postponed for the emergency caused by Covid-19.

The season will continue in France with the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans (19 September, departure at 2.30 pm) and will finally end in Bahrain with the 8 Hours, scheduled for November 21.

As pointed out by the organization of the FIA WEC, this calendar is also provisional, because it will be necessary to wait at least another month to make the appropriate assessments of the case based on the current situation. If everything is confirmed, season 9 of the FIA WEC World Cup will not start before the beginning of 2021.
